Kathleen Cardoza.

Kathleen is a seasoned corporate communications professional with deep expertise gained during her career in financial services.

Prior to establishing her own communications practice in 2022, Kathleen served as SVP, Global Head of Internal Communications, at the Northern Trust Corporation. While at Northern Trust, she led her team in communicating all COVID and Technology Transformation news and processes during the 2020 pandemic. Before Northern Trust, Kathleen spent 21 years with Nuveen Investments, where she led Corporate Communications during its transformation from a $60 billion municipal bond specialist to a $1 trillion diversified global asset manager.

Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Chicago. She lives in downtown Chicago with her husband and two college-age children. Her passions include global travel (historical and archaeological sites), cultural events (movies, theater, music, and dance), dining (from Michelin-starred restaurants to local dives), and is an AI enthusiast. Kathleen is a Dame of the Order of Malta, a more than 900-year-old, lay-order of Catholic men and women dedicated to serving the world’s poor and the sick. She currently serves as Illinois Area Chair for the American Association of the Order of Malta.
