Pat Allen.

Executive Vice President, LG Digital

Pat Allen’s deep experience in the investment industry covers two parallel tracks: digital marketing strategy and the direction of asset managers’ intermediary marketing strategies. To Lowe Group clients, this means Pat can contribute to strategic business discussions while shaping and leading the execution and measurement of website, email, and social strategies. She’s interested in whatever’s new, as you’ll learn from the blog posts she writes for the LoweDown, the Lowe Group blog.

Pat has been both a client and a consultant. Her background includes several years in senior marketing and communications positions with some of Chicago’s finest investment management firms (Calamos Investments, Claymore Securities, Van Kampen Investments and Kemper Funds). As an in-house marketer, she directed website and ETF launches, led digital engagement strategies and managed the development of interactive sales systems for wholesalers.

For seven years Pat operated Rock The Boat Marketing, a firm that provided digital marketing consulting to a client list that included Northern Trust, William Blair, JP Morgan Funds, Vanguard, WisdomTree, Van Eck, Waddell & Reed/Ivy Funds, and Wells Fargo Asset Management. To demonstrate social media listening to intermediary channel marketers, she launched and ran AdvisorTweets.com for two years and then sold it.

A hands-on marketer at all times, Pat has led and mentored teams large and small in how to leverage their marketing technology stack to innovate and drive business.

Pat’s bachelor of science degree from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism prepared her for a lifetime of asking questions and pursuing answers. A perfect day for her involves a morning walk listening to the Animal Spirits podcast, an afternoon watching marketing automation videos on YouTube and an evening working with Looker Studio dashboards, with breaks throughout to check on #fintwit—renamed #finsky and hosted on Bluesky.
